Seongmee Ahn is a graduate assistant at CLEAR and Ph.D. student in Second Language Studies at MSU. She has been working on the MIMEA Korean project since Fall, 2005. She received her Bachelor's in English Language and Literature and Master's in English Education from Korea University, Seoul, Korea. In addition, she studied Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at the University of California, San Diego and Korean Language Pedagogy at the Korean Language and Culture Center, Korea University. She has taught EFL learners and trained in-service teachers in Korea, and also worked with ESL learners from diverse linguistic and ethnic backgrounds in the United States. Her research interests include input, interaction, and attention in second language acquisition, second language writing, computer-assisted language learning, and less commonly taught languages.
